About
Guste Bloomfield places foxes within worlds of luxury and human aspiration — palaces, yachts, private jets, elegant dining rooms and other spaces associated with wealth and power.
The contrast is deliberate. Fine objects, rituals and symbols of status suggest control and ownership, while the foxes move through these environments freely, instinctively and without permission.
The works explore the illusion of possession and the fragility of worlds constructed around wealth, status and civilisation. The fox becomes a symbol of instinct, independence and quiet inevitability.
Through this encounter between the wild and the luxurious, Bloomfield asks a simple question:
Who truly owns luxury?
